Workshop on SMART GRID

This Pre-Cyber Expo workshop will focus on the smart grid concept, communication delay issues, threats directed toward critical infrastructures, the vulnerabilities these infrastructures present and potential defense mechanisms that may be deployed to tackle potential attacks. The proposed workshop would meet at the FedEx Institute of Technology (FIT--Fishbowl), the University of Memphis from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The workshop will include discussions, demonstrations, and poster presentations. The workshop will be conducted jointly by the Center for Information Assurance and Tennessee Cyber Security Education Consortium.
